to see warm temperatures. 71 degrees and your oakland. redwood city. south bay a lot of mid-70s. upper 60s red on through as daughters. into the afternoon warming and not checkered 12:00 starting ready to see temperatures in the '90s. along the peninsula still a bit cooler cooler than it was yesterday. 4:00, we will continue to rise and seek triple digits once again not quite as widespread not dominating much of the forecast. still seeing a future but digits out there a lot of nineties in store it is just the coast. 7:00, eighties around still gonna be warm. i looked at some of those numbers getting close to century mark for santa rosa coming in right around 99. 92% of bell 91 for mill valley. the finance lead comfortable 82. still kind of warm and done redwood city. but along the coast we're keeping temperatures in the '70s, '80s used a mid to upper 80s. hayward, union city, fremont coming in around 91. in lin still bringing is in triple digits to concord, livermore also to pleasanton. upper 90s to react. south bay upper 90s and triple digits as well. here is a look at your 7 day around

temperatures as we headed through the afternoon. 73 in redwood city, 84 in los gatos. and 87 at livermore and 87 in fairfield. take a look at this as we've gotten our numbers in july, we're talking about the coolest july on record, you average in daytime highs and low, the oldest record is 1987 and the newest average is 67.9. you have time to leave your air-conditioning off a little more in july. it just wasn't you thinking it was cooler than average, the numbers prove it. 54 in san mateo, still holding on to mid-60s in the interior section. still a comfortable night out there. won't get too much colder than the current temperatures because the fog and low clouds are starting to move in. monday, we will see a few more 80s in the valleys but still see milder than average conditions. fog will stay put. we come out to the wider view, we will show you the twisting of the atmosphere, a very weak system helping to drawdown cooler area cross the bay area, the fog combining with this will bring us more widespread 70s tomorrow, a few 80s around livermore and concorde and fairfield and plenty of 70

gulezian, abc 7 news. >> redwood city leaders will review that city's red light camera program tomorrow night. a critical grand jury report concludes cameras at major intersections have not significantly reduced traffic accidents in the two years since they were put up. the police chief admits the cameras are revenue generators with the city's take averaging $55,000 a month. but he also believes the cameras are a deterrent since the number of violations has dropped. redwood city's mayor says he was unaware right turn violators were ticketed by the system until he was caught. that will also be discussed tomorrow night. bay area users of public transit are catching on to the benefits of using the clipper card to pay fares for five transit agencies. the clipper card formerly known as translink is gaining acceptance so fast that the system has at times been overwhelmed. according to today's san francisco chronicle. during the first week of this month, clipper cards were used ford nearly 94,000 transactions, an increase of 11% over the previous week. a 240% increase from a year ago. the metr

city. the spill occurred this evening at the redwood shores lagoon and anchor circle. ktvu's lloyd lacuesta just arrived on the scene and has a live report. lloyd? >> reporter: julie, you see behind me workers are trying to fix this break. it happened around 3:00 this afternoon. a valve broke on the sewage line and it sent raw sewage out into the street, out into the lagoon. it got into the garages of six homes that you see here. now, with me is marilyn harang the acting public works director of the city of redwood city. what are you doing to try and stop this spill here? >> well, it's a forced main rupture. and what they are doing now is covering it. so we have to dig up to expose the pipe so that we can see how much -- what kind of damage it is. and then tonight they will repair the pipe, which may -- it could involve anything, a replacement of a valve or a replacement of the section of pipe if ruptured. >> what is the public health danger if there is any? >> there could be a public health danger. we have sent out a code red notice to all of the residents in the vicinity of the -

: it sounds bad and smells even worse. this is the redwood shores neighborhood in redwood city. it's the neighborhood sort of east of highway 101. the name of the game this morning is a pumping -- what they're doing pumping operations. they have many, many pumping trucks out here. that's just one of them. they're still trying to suck up all this sewage from the spill yesterday at 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon. what redwood city says that a 14-inch sewage pipe ruptured. and after that rupture of course all the sewage was spilling out. at one point had nowhere to go so it backed up into a pump station and then leaked into people's homes. several homes here that where the raw sewage went into their garages. this morning there are several homes with sandbags out in front of their garages to make sure that does not happen any further this morning. i did speak to a supervisor out here. he's very busy. little time to talk. they believe they have stopped the sewage from leaking anymore. so their first job they've got to get the rest of the sewage cleaned up. i did speak to -- well, we did spe
